What are the main differences between Linutop 1 & Linutop 2

Both Linutops are delivered with similar software package with exception of Open Office shipped only with Linutop 2.

Linutop 1 is shipped with Abi Word, a word processor that works with less memory.

Détails	Linutop 1 is the smallest and the most energy efficient computer of the line. It start once plugged. Linutop1 is a perfect fit for display, digital signage and industrial environements.	Linutop 2 has an internal flash memory to store the software and the operating system (External USB Key for Linutop 1). With 512MB of RAM (256 for Linutop 1), Linutop 2 can Run Open Office. A perfect solution for a standalone low maintenance desktop computer.

Linutop is sold without mouse and keyboard, so you can choose or reuse your own USB devices.

Can Linutop play video?

The Linutop's 'Plug & Surf Key' is delivered with VLC media player installed.

You can play video files (MPEG, AVI, WMV, ...) in full-screen mode.

Which operating system does Linutop run on?

Linutop currently runs on an optimized version of a Xubuntu LiveCD. The modifications include:
- A video driver for the on-board video capabilities of the Geode LX processor.
- Gaim and Firefox pre-installed.
- We removed a few applications to improve and simplify user experience and minimise cost of support.
