In this case, Hennebont Victor Hugo college is using Linutop solutions
Digital signed is designed with Raspberry Pi using linutop OS XS (5 screens) connected to a Linutop TV private serveur .
It allows to broadcast school informations and students creations, like videos or pictures.
Linutop TV enables playlist edition for each screen:
- the message (webpage), picture, video or pdf
- the display location
- the display timing
- the screen switch off
Linutop TV private server is hosted in a VM (Virtual Machine) from the school. The solution has been installed by download, using the available equipment on site.
This software solution is very affordable, also Raspberry Pi minimise power consumption and it continue to display the informations even if the networck is down.

Ici, les solutions Linutop sont utilisés au Lycée Victor Hugo de Hennebont.
L’affichage est réalisé par des Raspberry Pi utilisant linutop OS XS (5 écrans) connectés à un serveur Linutop.TV privé. Il permet de diffuser des informations relatives au lycée et les réalisations photos et vidéos des élèves.
Linutop TV permet d’éditer en ligne des “playlist” d’affichage pour chaque écran.
Ainsi sont facilement pris en charge:
- le message d’affichage (page web), l’image, la vidéo, ou le pdf
- le lieu d’affichage
- la date/durée d’affichage
- l’extinction de l’écran
Le serveur Linutop TV privé est hébergé dans une VM (virtual machine) de l’établissement. La solution a été installée sur des Raspberry Pi par téléchargement, en utilisant le matériel à disposition sur site.
Cette solution logicielle offre un coût très abordable, permet grace aux Raspberry Pi de réduire la consommation électrique au maximum et elle continue d’afficher les informations même en cas de coupure réseau.
